Who we are

Your photos and videos

When you open, paste, or drop a photo, your browser reads it and does the crop on your own device. The photo, its file name, and its contents are not sent to our server. The download is saved by your browser, and closing the tab removes the working copy from memory. There is no account and no online gallery, so we never hold a copy of your pictures.

The same rule applies to video. The circle crop video tool reads the clip in your browser, draws each frame on a canvas, and writes the download on your device. The video file is never uploaded to circlecropimage.app.

If you start from an image link, your browser loads that picture directly from the website that hosts it. That website receives the request in the same way as any normal visit. The picture is not passed through our server.

Settings saved on your device

To save you a few clicks, the site keeps two small settings in your browser’s local storage: your last download choices (format, size, and background) and whether you picked the light or dark theme. These settings stay on your device and are not sent to us. They never include a photo or a file name.

You can remove them at any time by clearing the site data for circlecropimage.app in your browser settings. The tools still work if storage is blocked; they just will not remember your last choices.

Information collected when you visit

Like almost every website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with other information.

Analytics

The site does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service at the moment. If we add analytics later, it will measure things like page views and the number of downloads, never the contents of your photos, and we will update this policy before it starts.

Advertising

The site does not show ads today. We plan to show ads from Google AdSense in the future to keep the tools free. When ads are shown, the following applies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be asked for consent before advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Cookies

The site itself does not set cookies to crop your photos, and there is no login. Cookies from Google or its partners would only be used once ads or analytics are turned on, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Email you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix the issue you reported, and we keep it only as long as that takes. Please do not send photos, identity documents, or a child’s personal information. If you do, we will delete them.

Children

circlecropimage.app is a general photo tool and is not directed at children under 13. The site does not ask for a name, an email address, or an account, and photos opened in the editor are not sent to us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not keep photos or accounts, so there is very little information about you for us to hold. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. For the email you sent us, write to [email protected] and we will help. Settings saved in your browser can be removed by you at any time by clearing site data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, for example when ads or analytics are turned on, we will update this page first and change the date at the top. How the tools may be used is covered in the terms of use.
