About circlecropimage.app

This page is about circlecropimage.app: who makes it, what the tools do, and how the guides are checked. The site is a free circle cropper that runs in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded, and every platform size links to the company help page it came from.

What the site does

circlecropimage.app turns a photo into a clean circle in a few seconds. You open a picture, paste one, or start from an image link, move it under the round frame, and download a PNG, WebP, or JPG. PNG and WebP keep the area outside the circle transparent, so the round photo sits on any slide, card, or page without a white box. JPG has no transparency, so it fills the corners with a background color you choose.

The circle cropper on the home page can also crop a set of up to 20 photos with the same settings, which helps with team pages and class rosters. Around it sit tools for other shapes and fixes: a square crop for apps that stretch circles into ovals, an oval, a heart, rounded corners, and a colored border. There are profile picture tools for Discord, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, and simple editors to rotate, flip, blur, merge, invert, or turn a photo black and white.

Everything is free. There is no account to create, no watermark on the download, and no limit on how many pictures you crop.

Why we built it

A round photo looks like a small job, but it often goes wrong. Slide and document apps stretch the circle over a wide picture and turn a headshot into an oval. Many online tools ask you to upload a personal photo to a server first. Others add a watermark or hide the download behind a sign-up.

We wanted one page that does the crop well, keeps the picture on your own device, and explains the details people actually ask about: which size to upload, why a circle turns into an oval, and how to do the same thing inside PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides, Canva, or Photoshop.

Who we are

The site is built and written by the Circle Crop Image Team. The same team writes the tools, the guides, and the size chart, and its name appears as the author on each guide. We do not publish ratings, reviews, or testimonials, and we do not pay for them.

circlecropimage.app is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp, X, Microsoft, Google, Canva, or Adobe. Those names appear only because people crop pictures for their products, and the trademarks belong to their owners.

How we keep the guides accurate

Platform sizes come only from each company’s own help pages. Every row in the size chart links to the page we read and shows the date we checked it. When a company does not publish a single pixel size, we say so plainly and label 512 by 512 as our own suggestion, not as the platform’s rule.

The app guides name a menu or a button only after we have seen it in the vendor’s help article. The numbers on the geometry page are calculated from the same formulas the editor uses. The methodology page explains these rules in more detail.

Your photos stay with you

Cropping happens in your browser. Your photo is not sent to circlecropimage.app, and closing the tab removes the working copy. The site only remembers a few settings, such as your last download format and size, on your own device. The privacy policy explains this in full, and the terms of use cover how the tools may be used.
